Northern California thrash metal band Parabellum is proud to announce its official addition to Darkstream Music Management’s roster. The partnership marks another major step forward for the band following its recent signing with Rockshots Records and the recording of four new tracks produced by thrash metal legend Gary Holt of Exodus and Slayer.
Formed in Lincoln, California, in 2021, Parabellum has quickly earned attention for combining the aggression, precision, and raw intensity of traditional thrash metal with the urgency of a new generation. Featuring Emre Aube on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Davy Galileo on lead guitar, Kyle O’Connor on bass, and Jacey Knecht on drums, the band has developed a sound built on razor-sharp riffs, relentless rhythms, commanding vocals, and high-impact live performances.
That momentum made Darkstream Music Management a natural partner for Parabellum’s next chapter.
Co-founded by Thomas Crawford and Steev Esquivel, Darkstream is an artist development and management company rooted deeply in the metal and rock community. Crawford brings more than 20 years of experience as a musician and 17 years of management and leadership experience in the technology industry. Esquivel brings decades of experience as a touring musician, vocalist, collaborator, and industry veteran, along with an established network throughout the heavy music world. Together, they combine strategic business leadership with firsthand knowledge of the realities that artists face as they build sustainable careers.
Darkstream operates with an artist-first philosophy centered on authenticity, integrity, creative excellence, and long-term growth. The company works with a focused roster of artists who are already releasing music, actively performing, developing their audiences, and ready to approach the next phase of their careers with greater intention. That selective model allows the Darkstream team to work closely with each artist and provide individualized direction rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
For Parabellum, the partnership provides an experienced management team that can help connect the band’s creative ambitions to a clear, sustainable business strategy. Darkstream’s work encompasses long-term career planning, release sequencing, industry positioning, contract and business oversight, label and partner communications, brand development, digital strategy, press relationships, and identifying touring, festival, endorsement, collaboration, and licensing opportunities. Darkstream also works alongside booking agents and other industry partners to help artists build the right team around their careers.
“This is a huge step forward for Parabellum,” the band said. “From our first conversations, it was clear that Thomas and Steev understood who we are, what we are building, and how seriously we take the future of this band. They bring the experience, relationships, professionalism, and genuine passion for heavy music that we were looking for. We are excited to have Darkstream in our corner as we take Parabellum to the next level.”
The announcement arrives during a period of rapid growth for the young band. Parabellum released its debut album, The Iron Curtain, in March 2024, followed by the faster, heavier, and more ambitious Behold a Pale Horse in February 2025. The band has supported those releases with explosive performances across the Western United States, sharing stages with Warbringer, Defiance, Burning Witches, Nefarious, Great American Ghost, D.R.I., Testament, and Destruction.
Parabellum’s newest material represents another major evolution in its sound. Produced by Gary Holt, the four-song demo captures the band at its tightest and most focused, with harder-hitting riffs, heavier rhythms, sharper vocals, and greater precision. The recordings offer an early look at the next stage of Parabellum’s development as the band continues to write and prepare new music.
With Rockshots Records and Darkstream Music Management now part of its growing professional team, Parabellum enters this new era with greater focus, stronger industry support, and an uncompromising vision for the future. Fans can expect further announcements regarding new music, releases, live appearances, and other developments as the band continues to expand beyond its Northern California roots.
Parabellum extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who has supported the journey so far. Every show attended, song streamed, post shared, and word of encouragement has helped the band reach this point.
The next chapter has officially begun.
Stay loud.
