Parabellum Joins the Electrifying Lineup at Redwood Metalfest 8

We are excited to announce that Parabellum will be part of the incredible lineup at this year’s Redwood Metalfest 8, set to electrify Downtown Ukiah on Saturday, June 15th. As an original DIY festival that champions the spirit of metal and community, Redwood Metalfest returns for its 8th edition, promising an all-day extravaganza that’s free, all-ages, and more vibrant than ever.

This year, we share the stage with an amazing roster of bands including A Waltz in Violence, Niviane, Skitzo, Negative Sixxx, and many more, each bringing their unique sound to the heart of Ukiah. But what truly humbles us is the opportunity to perform alongside some of our idols like Dylan Waltz, Steve Smyth of Forbidden, Mike DeLeon of Soulfly, Will Carroll of Deathangel, Rick Hunolt of Exodus, Michael Spencer of Flotsam and Jetsom, and Norman Skinner of Forbidden. Their music has inspired us and countless fans worldwide, and to share the stage with them is an honor we hold dear.

Redwood Metalfest is not just a festival; it’s a family-friendly event that welcomes music lovers of all ages. Activities ranging from face painting to ice cream stands ensure that even the youngest fans have a memorable time. The festival’s commitment to creating a respectful and inclusive environment makes it a unique experience, blending the intensity of metal with the warmth of community.

This year’s festival is set to feature with 14 bands performing on 2 stages and headliners that promise to bring the house down. The inclusion of Parabellum in this year’s lineup is particularly special as we support our new album, “The Iron Curtain.” Our music draws from the rich legacy of thrash metal, echoing the aggression, sharpness, and raw energy of the genre’s pioneers. At Redwood Metalfest, we aim to bring this energy to life, connecting with fans old and new through stories of rebellion, resilience, and resistance.

Parabellum’s journey has been one of honoring the roots of thrash while infusing it with our own modern vitality. Our performances are a testament to the unyielding spirit of metal, a reminder of the frenzied mosh pits and unified headbanging of the genre’s golden days. We are thrilled to bring this spirit to Redwood Metalfest, joining a community that celebrates the power of metal music to bring people together.

As we count down the days to June 15th, we invite you to join us in the heart of Ukiah for a day of unforgettable music, community, and celebration. Redwood Metalfest 8 is more than a festival; it’s a testament to the enduring spirit of metal and the unbreakable bonds it creates.
